Martha Lynn Craver has covered a wide range of beats during her almost 30 years with The Kiplinger Letter. She covered the S&L meltdown in the late 1980s, the airline industry in the aftermath of the 9/11 attacks and now covers health care, labor and the travel industry. Martha received her B.A. degree from McDaniel College and her master’s degree in journalism from Northwestern University. Before coming to Kiplinger, she covered Congress and later served as Washington bureau chief for the Army Times Publishing Co. A Washington, D.C., native, Craver is an avid photographer and hiker.
